I put a net over the tree, which helped save a lot of them for us. That summer we hosted a Finnish exchange student, and he helped us harvest the cherries.

I hope you have lots of cherries for yourself.Secondary Roadshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05116234285533139701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-406042802207115346.post-34032663080827457912013-05-13T08:10:16.717-04:002013-05-13T08:10:16.717-04:00Today we are back to hailstones and bitter winds.Today we are back to hailstones and bitter winds.Duxbury Ramblershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15171959685125369534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-406042802207115346.post-20636988268047175052013-05-13T07:59:28.336-04:002013-05-13T07:59:28.336-04:00Oh, I do hope the fruit trees are safe and that y&...Oh, I do hope the fruit trees are safe and that y'all have a bountiful harvest.vanillahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11978025976591113499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-406042802207115346.post-17806963545255294552013-05-13T00:58:14.721-04:002013-05-13T00:58:14.721-04:00I hope you do have a good fruit year. Cherries (can't tell one kind of cherry from another) are so expensive here since they're imported, and they're usually not available fresh. I think we get a diff kind of pear here, and I'm very curious about crabapples. I don't think we have them here either. I do know Trixie Belden lives on Crabapple Farm, lol.Ivyhttp://www.ourlemonadedays.comnoreply@blogger.com
