We'll see what happens this week.<br /><br />Hi Ivy- the redwing blackbird song is often the very first sound of spring here. They usually come even before the robins.<br /><br />Ratty- I've been chasing a lot of birds this week, and missed almost all of them. I really like your blackbird story. Red-winged blackbirds are so interesting and fun to watch. Those herons seem like they're moving slow, but they're hard to get on camera while they're flying.
