I just had to use this for today. On a quick run through the house I glanced out the window at the right time and saw the sun on this cloud. I'm not a big fan of pink, but in the right setting it is cool. And I mean cool in temperature. This is not a "hot" sunset, but really speaks of a cooler ending to the day. Cooler, of course, is relative. It's 76 instead of 86. I'll take it.

ReplyDeleteThat is just an excellent picture. It's so satisfying when you see something like this and the picture comes out good too. There have been so many times that I have taken a picture of something like this, but the picture just doesn't match up. This one came out beautifully.

It is a beautiful picture, Shark. I like the variation in sunsets. I've certainly seen many hot, blazing tropical sunsets but the pink in this is quite nice. I've been warmer than usual, visiting my son and his new bride for three days in West Sacramento - the temperatures are about 20 degrees warmer than in my area, near the Pacific!
ReplyDeleteCarmen- that inland effect is real. We live 7 miles from Lake Michigan, and it's usually about 10 degrees warmer here than at the lake.
