The Empress' Closet

 I'm showing you this display from the Philadelphia Flower Show today only because it won't take a long time to write up the post. We packed up, traveled from Philly to Marie's, shopped, made dinner, and then I had a Zoom meeting this evening. I've made it to tired.

But this was part of a large exhibit that was really great called Florists of the Future. You'll see more of it. It was one of the best. I'm usually not so crazy about "fashion" made from plant materials, but I thought these were great, and they really fit the theme. The entry says, "Step into the empress' closet where galactic glamor reigns."

First up is the stylish minimalist hat.

But when the wearer is in full Empress mode, she has an appropriate bustier.

Probably to be worn with the full regal headdress.

Any any self-respecting empress of the future will need winged shoes

Marie has already crashed for the night. I think I'm about to follow suit.
