Look who wandered across my back yard tonight. These aren't great photography; it was nearly dark, but the deer weren't intent on running away, so that made it fun.
I think this was probably Mom. She knew I was there, but wasn't too concerned.
Just tryin' to reach one more tasty weed.
The junior set was a little more wary, and a lot skinnier.
"Gotta move on out, Mom's pretty far ahead."

those deers look rather content to be there.
ReplyDeleteCool shots
Very nice!
ReplyDeleteNice Pictures. Nice to have them in your back yard. I use to have some that would come over and eat the apples right off my apple tree. I loved watching them.
ReplyDeleteOh deer.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't seen deer in our neighborhood in a long time. My brother has them all the time in his yard. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to have deer in your yard. I don't get many here because my yard is fenced in, not that they can't jump in. But there are plenty of places to go without jumping. Great pictures. It was fun seeing them
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful sight to see.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to have wildlife roaming through your back yard. I'm in an area that is just a little too developed for deer to wander in.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to have a family of deer in your backyard! We see lots in our neighborhood but they don't venture up our cul-de-sac very often. They just bring a sense of serenity because they are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteDeer in your own backyard, how wonderful! :)
ReplyDeleteSeeing deer never gets old, does it? Even after you've seen thousands of them.
ReplyDeleteDeer are always so much fun, especially when they're close to home. They're on of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteHi reanaclaire- I DID have a nice Monday, thank you.
ReplyDeleteHi Richard- they do feel quite content... in the flower beds too.
vanilla- I bet you see lots of them in Indiana too.
Hi Russ- they love our old orchard in the fall.
Dennis- they are fun to chase, but mom doesn't like me to. Mags
Auntie E- they are all here!
Marg- sometimes they are more bold, and come this close.
Carole- I know you have deer, but are they whitetails?
Ann- the wildlife seems to be moving in to many developments. My friend has turkey and a bear!
Beaded Tail- They do seem serene, but when they start eating all my flowers I don't feel too serene.
Ivy- lots of times!
John- there is always something intriguing. This time that last one seems to have a VERY pointed muzzle.
Ratty- I knew you would like them. I do too, it's just that we have too many.
