Irish Dinner for One

  I got in the mood for corned beef and cabbage, but there is no one to eat it but me. Wasn't buying a pricey slab of meat for one person! Solution- a can of corned beef. The onion and cabbage are no problem. I'll easily eat those up.

TaDa! No, it doesn't taste as good as the real deal, but it's better than not having any. All that's missing is the soda bread (see link below for 4 years ago). But that might happen later this week. Who knows? corned beef and cabbage

In other news: I painted for five hours, then came home and worked on my files for a while.

    Corned beef and cabbage in my home province of Newfoundland, is called Jiggs dinner. Oh so good! We don’t have it much any more.

    Lulu- well, a lot of people I know consider canned corned beef to BE dog food.
