This is not about to become a video blog, but the contrast with yesterday was so sharp that I went back to the house to get fresh batteries just so I could capture this. Oh, and where it gets all shaky.... that's because I was having a pretty hard time standing up.

You are really brave to be out and about in that. I guess one gets used to that! I am a whimp. I'd be snuggled by the fire with a good book or someone who has read one. I love seeing all this, though, and I appreciate your brave all the gusts to share it with us.

ReplyDeleteIt's been terribly windy and snowy around here the last few days too. Just trying to get the storm doors open to let the dogs out is a workout in itself. Hope the weather improves for you soon!

Ivy- I enjoy the seasons very much! I'm not likely to become what we call a "snow bird"- one who goes south for the winter.
betchai- Well, 25 mph looks nasty, but we don't get too much damage unless it hits 30-35 mph. The snow makes it sting more on the skin.
Ratty- thank you! The wind day one would have been better if the batteries had been charged when I first went out. The snow was lifting off the pines across the road in huge puffs, but it was mostly done when I got back with fresh batteries. I got one little one if you hunt for it in the video.

The snow doesn't usually last long this far south (Lincolnshire). This time it lasted for about 2 weeks. I received a new camera for Christmas, but unfortunately the best of the snow had already gone :-(
