Not much else to say about these. There was light fluffy snow all day that looked like confectioners sugar. These red wheels by someone's driveway just spoke to me. (Ouch, didn't catch that pun till I wrote it.) Anyway, I'd never noticed them before, and I drive by there quite often. It takes some change in the landscape for our eyes to see something different.
It's interesting how the red osier dogwood in this one makes the whole picture have a pink cast. The shots were taken just seconds apart, and the two wheels are a driveway width apart, so there's really no difference in the lighting or anything else.

That looks unbelievably cold Joan ... reminds me of the old childhood stories where people put on their boots, hats, scarves, gloves and coats then ran out into the virgin snow to see how many footsteps they could make .......... (No did they write stories about that? What on earth was I reading about? It sounds like a bit of Enid Blyton!)
ReplyDeleteIt is beautifully picturesque. Do I spy some red dogwood? At least that with the red wheel helps to warm up the view a little.
A bit of red always seems to add interest in a way no other colours do.

I love how red looks against the white of the snow.
