Rushed quick after work to get to Baldwin to pick up Sue. (Had time for a few snuggles with Sophie.) Sue fed us dinner, and we made it to Newaygo only a few minutes late for a program by Dale Painter, about his hike of the Pacific Crest Trail this summer.
Here, he talks about how important he felt hiking poles are.

He gave a very good media program with slides and video clips made during his hike.

Afterwards, I got to see his gear and talk with him a few minutes.
Glad I went, but now it's time for sleep!
