Top Commenters, and a Flower

I'm a month late with this! I do apologize, but hey... I'll try to not let it happen again. I've added March and April together this time. There were 62 different people who left messages, and a total of 475 separate comments (not counting my own responses to them).

The top 10 commenters for the past two months are:
Ann's Snap & Edit (Ann- 62 comments)- Ann and Duke are busy blog travelers
Carmen's Chronicles (Carmen- 42 comments)- she likes yellow and good eating, and has a lifetime of world pictures to share
My Journey (rainfield61- 32 comments)- rainfield always brings a new perspective, tied with
The Best Parts (Ferd- 32 comments)- he and Gail share their lives and birding adventures
String Too Short to Tie (David (vanilla)- 29 comments)- a man with a perspective and a sense of humor
Duxbury Ramblers (Carol- 28 comments)- always great plants and animals from across "the pond"
Duck and Wheel with String (Lin- 26 comments)- "mom" to teens and cats and frogs
Spinning Lovely Days (Ivy- 21 comments)- she's back, the nausea of the first trimester at bay
The Joys of Simple Life (Betchai- 19 comments) beautiful hikes in the western US, tied with
Secondary Roads (Chuck- 19 comments)- who's been resting his wrists, but did all right anyway!

I really value all of you! The small banner in the sidebar for a month is just a tiny way to say thanks for sharing your thoughts.

And the flower? Trailing Arbutus, Epigaea repens. Last year, I found ones open on April 10... this year, May 6.

oh wow, thanks for the banner ad Sharkbytes, really appreciate it. thanks also for the hard work you put in, putting up the banners is not easy. and thanks also for sharing the joys you find, though it came almost a year late, but still, the trailing arbatus came.

Another one we don't get here and I am sure I have never seen it - not even in a garden or plant nursery.

Congratulation to all the top commenters!

Everything blooms late this year.

My banner is gone. (crying)
I expect it to happen though, the little boy is just crazy naughty nowadays, especially that he learns how to walk already with assistance. Sorry for not coming back here more often but now that he is on vacation, I have more time already. LOL

BTW, it's nice to hear that all your blogs are up again.

I guess I'll have to comment more. I DO read. Actually, I come here every time I do my Adgitize clicks, and I read ... but I can't always think of something to say.

wow, I left that many comments? I kind of feel like one of those pain in the butt neighbors who always comes over when you are really busy....lol Thank you very much for the banner it's much appreciated

Voice recognition software does help those sore hands and wrists. Just letting you know that I'm hear and I like what I see.

betchai- You are welcome! It takes lots less time than all of your comments. You are the heroes!

Carol- it's a pretty special one. It used to be listed as protected, but now is considered more common. It recovers slowly if disturbed, though, so we try to be careful when building trail. There is lots here because it likes xeric, sandy soil!

Icy- I'm fairly amazed that it's a whole month later.

borris- the little one should always take priority!

CD- no biggie- just comment when you want. Nice to know you are here.

Ann- you are definitely not a pain in the butt!

Chuck- I'm really glad. I would miss you big time if you gave up the computer.

Your blog is one I try never to miss, Joan. Your world is so different from mine and that is one of the reasons I enjoy sharing it. I learn a lot!

It's nice of you to put my blog name on your page!

What a pretty little flower. It's nice to find such treasures along the way in life, isn't it?

Carmen- you are one of my biggest supporters! I really do appreciate it. I'm always happy to be an oddity of a specimen!

You are right, he is the priority. Right now, I am devastated, I missed him so much.
