More Graphology

Here are a couple more interesting facts that I would not have guessed.
  • It is impossible to determine the gender of an individual solely by means of handwriting. Although we may characterize certain styles as masculine or feminine there is no correlation with the actual gender of the writer.
  • a person's handwriting may change abruptly due to physical or mental illness or healing from either of those. It may change abruptly as the result of some stressful or other significant incident.
The book I am reading focuses on interpreting general characteristics of the writing rather than analyzing particular letter strokes. Current theory is that it isn't a valid science, but it's pretty interesting anyway!
