Om Puts His Birthday Gift to Good Use

Loretta brought Om a Belgian waffle iron for his birthday. As you know, if you've been reading me for long, you know we like to have an occasional waffle-fest. Om left today to be gone for a week, so he said he'd treat us to breakfast. Loretta went and bought some fruit and toppings. I just dragged myself to the kitchen.

Just proving that Om really did it here.

This isn't an electric iron. You do it on the stove. The waffles are thicker, with deeper depressions than regular waffles.

Do you think he's got the magic touch?

Loaded and ready for the fork!

(Does it look like there are two refrigerators in our kitchen? You are so observant. One is dead. The jury is still out on the other one.)

Belgian waffles sound like a wonderful idea to me right now. I may do it too.

So, the magnets, having sucked the life out of one fridge, have all gathered on the other one? Or am I wrong?

That does look good.
