There have been quite a few farmers taking in a last cutting of hay. I snapped the first picture last week. There are several different kinds of machines available to cut the hay and form the windrows.

I always find the neat windrows attractive, but I actually turned around and went back this afternoon to take these pictures. The late afternoon sun sure made the colors vivid!
