The polar bear was helping promote the local group that is forming called "Friends of the Pool," to try to influence the community college to save the swimming pool. I thought that whole issue was a tempest in a teapot, but apparently they are seriously considering closing it.
The event had pretty good variety. You could choose your holiday for which to buy decor.
Christmas of course.
But it's not Thanksgiving yet, so there were several people selling fall and harvest items.
There was even patriotic stuff!
Did OK- about as well as I expected. And I think I found one event to sign up for in December. A good enough day. But for whatever reason, I'm pooped. I'm going to go lie down with a book.

Well isn't that a cute date you had. Looks like it was a nice event. I went to one yesterday and it was mainly Christmas.
Chaplin: "It does seem to be important to learn how to swim. Nobody ever taught Dennis and so when he went in the water he would just kind of flail around in a circle and splash and whine until he got out again."
Charlee: "I don't understand why he would have gone in the water in the first place."
Chaplin: "Apparently there was a tennis ball floating away that he was trying to rescue ..."
Ann- I think this year's had better stuff.
Chaplin- Wow! I did not know that Dennis was not a water dog. Those V dogs are supposed to be, but Maggie didn't do water either. Charlee- well many kittees don't like being wet. But I have watched a BIG orange and black kittee swim.
