The dogbone tree did get decorated, and actually ended up looking pretty good. We had a quiet morning and spent the rest of the day with friends. We realized, mid-afternoon, that this is the first year that we've gone anywhere on Christmas. It's always been a family day for us. But with none of the boys home this year we accepted invitations to visit with others. Lots of music and some games. Quite a change, but it worked out just fine.
