Narnia?
Well, if I had set this up so you couldn't see the barn , but only the pine trees, you might believe that it is Narnia. But it's just the view out my front door in the morning as I head out to run the snowblower. We have about a foot of snow now, and perhaps it is going to let up for a couple of days.
I'm very busy tonight. Hopefully I'll have something really good for tomorrow, but... I never know!

It's a beautiful shot but I wouldn't venture out too far...nice with the light burning bright!!!
It maybe fun to an ignorant people like me, but snow certainly brings trouble to you.
I love that picture. Snow makes for such beautiful scenery too bad it's so cold. We got about a foot yesterday but it did finally quit (for now)
It looks like Narnia to me, even with the barn. I wonder if there are any talking squirrels living in there. I'm also glad we don't have so much snow here yet. It would make getting my trail pictures difficult for the first few days. I don't seem to be ready for the changing weather this year.
Oh yes It really look like it. Have a great weekend.
I'm with Ratty. It does look like Narnia! Watch out for queens riding in sleighs. Maybe you'll encounter a faun -- or, more likely, a fawn.
nice shot..
Beautiful, I have only seen snow once since 2005. I love to see it but not live with it.
I would make that pic, next years Christmas card.
If you really can get to Narnia that way, I will be right over. I could use a break from Earth.
Yeah,it sure looks like the lamp post in Narnia. So,did you see Mr. Tumnus, the faun? or the White Witch? =)
At first glance I thought you were posting a picture from the film indeed! but I had doubts as the title has a question mark on it. :)
i wish i could see snow..no snow in malaysia
A smile from SJ =)
Carmen- We are pretty used to it! But yes, the light makes it very pretty.
rainfield- Yes, many consider it trouble. It is more work, but I'm sure you have things that cause extra work too.
Ann- Where are you? NE? Going from zero to a foot was called instant winter, eh?
Hi Ratty! I hardly ever see a squirrel near the house. It seems odd to me, but I think they like the spruce cones in the cemetery better than the white pine. There are plenty of them in the general area.
Auntie E- thank you! Maybe I'll have tea with a faun.
Chuck- haha There will be plenty of fawns, starting with today.
wenn- thank you
Glynis- No snow since 2005? :-( You are deprived, lady!
Dennis- maybe if I get in, you will magically be pulled with me. Two vizslas on a quest- Maggie (I sniffed a deer trail for you today)
Femmepower- yesterday was perfect for the White Witch. More like Mr. Tumnus today.
fetus! Wow, you made my day that it looks that good.
SJ- I would send you some, but I think you would just get a box full of water ;-)
I'm feeling jealous, I love exploring in the snow. Some of the Narnia books are among my all time favourites!
Hi John- I practically breathed Narnian air and I feel a bit invaded with all the popularity since the movies. VofDT comes out next year!
