I took a really nice picture of the foggy sunrise this morning, but guess what? The camera card wasn't in the camera. So you get no sunrise. But you do get a story.
I worked all day (and yes, I leave soon to also work all night). The paper is a major sponsor of a huge boat show that is going on this weekend at the marina and they paid all of us to help with set up. We did various tasks from the mundane to the hefty. Here comes the story.
The equipment for the band that is playing arrived in a trailer with two large guys to unload it. But we were assigned to help them get it all over to the stage. They looked at us (all girls) and said, "We need the strong people to help with this."
One lady said, "You don't know what we do all day at the paper."
I said, "You're looking at the strong people. This is it."
He said, "These speakers weigh 400 pounds. They need four people, one on each handle to carry them."
So four of us, three girls and a guy, picked it up and carried it to the stage.
See you tomorrow!

LOL, never underestimate the power of a woman.
I like that story. Sorry we don't get to see your sunrise though.
Poor fellow. He just doesn't get it.
Booyah! That'll show 'em.
Gosh, I hate it when they underestimate what you can do. I hope they apologized for doubting.
