A New Geranium
Here is a pink geranium of a different kind that someone gave me last year. The buds are kinda funky!
Ratty- There are a lot of different kinds of geraniums. The ones in pots that are (usually) bright red are still popular summer decor. But they are tricky to keep over the winter and most people use them as annuals. You can see them all over any cemetery that allows real flowers. These are perennial "bush" type.
Hi Walk in the Woods! Thanks for stopping by- Yes, the wild ones are so delicate!
Joe- We ended up with only two meals that we didn't use because we ate at the restaurant at Gunflint Lodge. The Steripen was great. I will do a product review on it soon at Shared Reviews.

Interesting flowers. I barely remember geraniums from when my grandmother used to plant them. I mostly remember the name.
It's lovely ... looks more like the wild geranium, which I love with its delicate blue bell blossoms!
Nice pictures as usual. I was wondering if you had any of your pre-pkged mealsm left from your hike. How did the new water purifier work out
