There is Some Good Stuff

I'll tell you what's good about today and then I'm headed to bed.

1. Om is home safe and sound. Sore, but doing well.

2. I got a "puppy fix" on the paper route. At one store a man had a chubby, very young, chocolate lab puppy. I got lots of licks and puppy paws and snuggles. Kept me going for the rest of the route!

3. We found the white grease that I bought 2 years ago and then lost so that I could grease the worm gear on the snowblower that turns the chute.

Up at 3:15, paper route, check at the hospital, go get Joshua to take one car home, go back to hospital, sit with Om in recovery, bring Om home, get drugs and food on the way, snowblow the driveway, walk over to Josh's to get my car, drive home. I'm whipped. I stayed "up" (crashed on the couch) till now, but I give up.

Glad Om is safe and home now. Btw, love the lighthouse pics in the previous post. Crazy about lighthouses. :) Hope you were able to get a good rest.

Wow I got tired just reading all that. Glad Om is home safe and sound. Those little lab puppy kisses would have been enough to make my day

Sounds like a very busy day. I hope things get a little more peaceful and quiet for you soon.

Ivy- Glad you like the lighthouse. It doesn't get much press here on the Great Lakes because there are so many other distinctive ones in more beautiful settings, but it's "ours."

Hi Lin- The puppy was the best thing of the whole week. He was a winner!

Icy & Vanilla- Thanks- he's healing really well.

Ann- Puppies are the BEST!

Ratty- tomorrow, I hope--- since I'm not answering this till a week later!
