Green, and It is Lovely

Walked the loop around my kingdom today. The air was still and soft. I don't know what atmospheric conditions produce "soft" air, but I know it when I feel it.

Mostly I just soaked up the green-ness. The maples in the cemetery are finally getting leaves.

The lowly dandelion and violet set each other off to good advantage.

And the haze of light green budding aspen against the pines is an example of everything I love about spring.

I didn't walk fast. I didn't walk far (ok, the loop is about a mile, but that's not really far), but it sure was lovely.

Spring in the air puts a spring in my step. Love it when the world turns green again.

I too love this part of Spring. I saw the hyacinth on the lawn today. Unfortunately it was just as the mower cut them down.
