A Wary Woodchuck
On our NY hike, we spotted this wary woodchuck tracking our progress on a road walk section. Actually he (she?) ran across the yard and ducked under the corner of the barn as we approached. But something about the fact that he only retreated just enough to watch us tickled my funny bone. Want to see him closer? OK.

Well isn't he just the cutest peeking out at you like that.
I love these pictures! I really like it when any creature is peeping back at the camera like that.
