awesome photo....glad you made it in time to catch it...hope you also caught your sleep...
The moon is sometime as shy as us.
caught it in the nick of time. good job. I thought about going out and trying to get a shot of the moon this morning but just didn't have the energy to do it.
Nice capture. This is a great photo.
I think this shot is more interesting!
I saw it rising last night in our family room window--it sure is lovely.
Nice shot, Sharky! Good Catch!
this is awesome! It is so nice to catch glimpses of nature's beauty. Thanks for the comment on my EB review. I have an ultralight, and it is has its uses, and its faults. I prefer sturdy jackets though!
enjoy this great storm!

Loretta- I did- slept for 11 hours. The previous night was short.
rainfield- well, it was being bold just seconds previous- it's a fickle friend!
Ann- I'm no good at remembering to actually go out and wait for great shots. I either catch it or not.
vanilla- it sort of looks like the moon is nestled into the cloud.
Jean- you might be right. Still, I wanted the other one too!
Lin- I was so surprised to see the full moon on that side of the house!
John- thanks for stopping by. I enjoy your adventures.
Great catch. BTW, have you heard about the rule of thirds in capturing shots to give more interest/energy on the subject? Rather than just centering it.
sir rob- sure, I know that rule. But sometimes I'm more interested in scientific recording than art.
I think you were fast enough...it's a beautiful photograph!
Carmen- It's like the moon is snuggled into the clouds
