Top Commenters for October

Here is some beautiful tamarack or larch in the fall. It's the northern conifer that loses its needles each year. They turn bright gold before they come down.

I am just like the tree, I was active here but lately I was so occupied in getting my father-in-law then so many requirements to do for license renewal and work. So I fell out from the sidebar. lol

BTW, you may want to check out my new travel photolog.

Thanks for the shout out and the link. This daily stop is good for my soul. Love the photos and particularly your stories and tree-identification lessons.

Our native Larch is I think the only conifer that retains it's needles year round. Although I could be talking nonsense, not being a tree expert.
Thanks for the mention. Hmm, think I might go for top billing next month. Could be a bit of a competition starting.

Dang, I can't catch up to Ann or Chuck. Ugh!

Do I get a handicap for it being Marching Season?? It's tough to blog AND go to all those contests. Sigh.

It mayy take me awhile but I do try to catch up on all your posts. I hate to miss a one. I'm afraid I'll get behind when I am traveling and before I get an internet hookup in India but, even if I'm a month behind, I'll soon ber on board.

Those trees are so pretty with their yellow needles.
