Farm Fun

A few more pictures from yesterday. Horses are generally curious about a new human.

But the cow was the most fun. It was clearly a pet, and trotted right over to me and demanded to have its nose scratched.

The funniest thing of all was the white German shepherd. He was friendly, and kept coming to me for attention, but in between he was playing with a full-grown black cat. The cat seemed less enthused than the dog, but didn't get testy. As I was leaving the dog picked up the cat by the scruff of the neck and carried it away from my car, toward the barn. Still playing? or being protective?

It must be a very happy farm to have all those friendly animals there.
How cute with the dog. I say it was being protective, didn't want it's friend to get run over

Aw, that is so funny about the dog and cat. I think he is protecting his friend.

Love the friendly cow.

Probably protective, Shepards are like that.

You get into interesting places and then get the most possible out of them. I loved the horses, and then the cow, but the dog and cat are the greatest!

Horses are so beautiful and you take great pics. The cow reminds me of one in city farm my daughter used to go to. The girls played a game with it in which it would come close to have its face pushed and then whip round and kick out so they had to jump out of the way. All good clean fun I was assured.
