Cathy and I joined a group hike today on the NCT. We had 10 people and a dog (Loren's Koa).
Two people who have been hiking with this group all year finished their Hike 100 today. The first is Maureen.
Cathy and I turned around before the other Kathy finished, but I stole a picture from someone else.
It was a beautiful day to be outside. Not too hot, not too cold. The trail was mostly clear with some rotting snow, and had been well-traveled before we got there.
This took all morning, and then I edited and worked on some other things this afternoon. They are related to the book, but involve sorting pictures.

A nice achievement for those two hikers.
Lulu: "Congratulations, hikers! And I'm sure every hike is better if there's a dog along!"
Ann- yes the Hike 100 program has been super popular!
Lulu- You betcha. And Koa is always excited to go on the trail.
