It's done! Loretta is happy. I am happy. She has to leave tomorrow, and I have actually finished this more than 5 minutes before she is walking out the door. So unlike me (grin).
The last picture isn't so artistic, but it shows the layout, which I see has a design flaw... now that I'm all done. Grrr. Oh, well.
If you would like to see the directions for this afghan, I have published them at Spring Daisies Afghan

So, it is a relief...
Greetings from Southern California.
I added myself to follow your blog. You are more than welcome to visit mine and become a follower if you want to :-)
God Bless You, ~Ron
it looks great. Love the colors. I'm betting that you are the only one who will notice any design flaw
It's beautiful! The colors are so soft and it looks so snuggly!
I don't see a flaw, so don't point it out, silly!! I do that too with my quilts that I make, but we really shouldn't. I've heard that the Amish purposely put a mistake in every one of their quilts because only God creates perfection. Think of it that way. :)
Oh--IT IS LOVELY!! LOVE the colors.
rainfield- It IS a relief. Afghans are so big, I'm always glad when they are over.
Hi Geezer- thanks for stopping by. I'll check out your blog.
Ann- Whew! The colors are very nice. I was really glad that I found them all in the same yarn... just what Loretta wanted
Lynne- Glad you like it!
Lin- The colors really are yummy, and the yarn is quite soft and nice.
It's lovely. Congrats!
It's beautiful, Joan...such a labor of love. That is a lot of work.
A design flaw??? I could stare at it for hours....and I will....and never find a flaw. It is so beautiful that I am going to start tomorrow repainting the room where it is going to "live." The room is going to be my readin and relaxin space!!
Ivy- thanks- I know you like to do squares too.
Carmen- well, yes, um... this was a labor intensive one, but shhh- we won't tell Loretta!
Loretta- have fun painting! I'd help with that if I were there!
