Life Is Grand

Life is GrandThere will be two posts today because I've been given another award. Chuck, over at Secondary Roads, has bestowed a series of them. Grouchy me, I can't do 'em all, but I decided to accept the "Life is Grand" award.

Now, perhaps I haven't made it clear on a regular basis that life ISN'T always grand. See What is My Quality Day?. But life is a gift, and God is Good, so to be a sourpuss continually is to deny those good gifts. And it IS a rare day that there is really nothing of quality. God gives many gifts, but one does have to unwrap them.

I hereby pass this award on to:
The Everyday Adventurer because he is always looking for some new special outdoor spot, and I just resonate with that!
My Journey for loving to hike and showing me beautiful places in a part of the world I probably will never see in real life.
Wise Acre because he has a great eye for the details of the natural world, oh, and a wicked sense of humor
Things I'm Grateful For for such discipline in finding and making good experiences every day
and finally, a blog I just found today, Scribbles from Glynis just because of this quote "Always find a positive in a negative world...here is mine...I am taller than my dogs."

Thanks, I really do appreciate the thought. I will take the award home and hug it and squeeze it and call it 'my little piano'.

Thanks for the award. I'm glad to get it from someone who deserves it even more.

Wise Acre- If you squeeze it so much you will turn it into a baby piano!

Hi Ratty- Don't be silly. You also always find something grand to share!
