Dayton and 100 - Day 39

OK, so I photoshopped this sign a tiny bit, but I had to come up with something that had 100 on it. Today, I completed 2022 Hike 100 NCT Challenge! sign with number 100

Completed all of Dayton today. Last time I hiked this was in 1999. The route was roughly the same, but now it's almost all paved bicycle path. I entered Triangle Park across a large suspension bridge. Triangle Park Suspension bridge

The Dayton skyline appears soon after. Dayton skyline

Right downtown the trail goes, across the Mad River on a beautiful new pedestrian bridge Mad River bridge

Then the trail follows the Mad River upstream, Mad River

passing right in front of the National Air Force Museum. National Air Force Museum

Then it goes near the Wright Brothers Memorial. Wright Brothers Memorial

Long hiking day, and then we visited with our hosts, Amy and Brent Anslinger- hikers and adventurers in their own right. Late blog post. Will be late going to bed, but all worth it. Good times. hikers

Sorry about the dates on the photos- hopefully I can get rid of them tomorrow.

Miles today 17.8. Total miles so far: 567.8
