Polka Dots and Stripes 3

Not much going on here today. I was working at the computer most of the day. Yesterday was Josh's birthday, but since we were doing 50 mph winds I didn't go out. Today, I took a little bit of cake over to him.

He wasn't home, but I anticipated that and had it in a box I could leave on his porch. Also, his cake had coconut on it, but I made ours polka dotted.

The sun came out and made some nice striped shadows.

Nothing spectacular, but that's ok!

Aw, too bad you missed him. I'm sure he got a big kick out of you leaving him a cake though. :) Only a mom does that, right?

It's cold and windy here too! Yea! Finally winter.

Doesn't have to be spectacular to be good. Right? Fortunately, those heavy winds flew away in the storm.

Everyday doesn't have to be spectacular. Cake and pretty pictures are nice, too.

Lin- Someone might make him cake, but I bet not many people would walk a mile through the snow to deliver it.

Chuck- The wind was a little alarming. It was tearing small branches off the white pines.

vanilla- cake is always good. Especially vanilla cake.

Ivy- I will share with you.

Ann- I hadn't made cake for a long time. It WAS good.
