A Golden Ending

The day was long and physically tiring, but the outcomes are golden. We have a driveway, and we have water.

The sun even came out for a while, before putting itself to bed.

I'm putting myself to bed really soon, too.

Beautiful!!

The skies have been lovely this winter. I wonder if the cold and snow are the cause or the effect?

We had pink light this morning. On the snow, it was incredible.

They are lovely, although they look to me more like our celandines. We used to do the same ritual as you when I was a child - holding up a buttercup to a chin to see if the person liked butter. They usually did. I still love butter and eat too much of it, I'm afraid.
