The Blue Flamingo

This post is just to let you know I'm alive and well. The real hiking story will be told after I return home. This is an addition to the flamingo series.

We passed a lovely garden on one of the road walk sections. As we approached, I thought there was a nice blue heron garden ornament. Nope. It's a blue flamingo!

This goes perfectly with other things I've been seeing. I was just looking at pictures of flamingos right before I stopped by here. A fun coincidence.

Flamingos remind me of my one day of honeymoon. We went to London Zoo, and took pics of them, as they had no wires around them, and it looked as if we had been somewhere exotic!

I tagged you on my blog by the way.

Blue flamingo? What next? A green flamingo? How about purple? Or puce?

We know you are well when you can capture such a bird. Safe travels.

First blue flamingo I've ever seen. I wonder if a new trend is on the horizon

Oh, I'm anxious to hear about the hike!

I'm not sure why folks put out flamingos in their gardens...but then again, I guess I'm guilty with my fake heron. Which reminds me....it's almost time to dust mine off and get him outside.
