Revert!

Is this something like a call to repent? Probably not. This post refers back to one from long ago (linked below), 2011 to be exact. That year, I discovered a magenta yarrow growing beside the road. Wild yarrow is always white, so this had to be some garden escape.

In the seven years since that time, the purple has spread quite a long distance along the shoulder of the road. However, it's also reverting to white.

See how mottled and varied the flower heads are? A couple are still quite purple, but some are pale pink and some are almost white.

In other news: I worked on rebuilding files, did laundry, and wrote a chapter in DMS Mistletoe. Not bad.

I had some yarrow growing in the front of my house. It was all white. Not much left now since something viney has gotten in there and is choking everything out
