Marie's Garden

It rained all day here. Today was almost entirely a rest day. We went to the grocery store, cooked dinner, played a game, puttered a little, read, and napped.

Here are some parts of Marie's garden. Castor Beans are beautiful but the seeds contain the poison, ricin. Interestingly enough, they are also the source of castor oil, used medicinally.

She's also pretty happy with her elephant ears. These have to be taken in every winter. I don't know how she finds the discipline to get that done.

We might be more productive tomorrow. Or we might not.

She has a nice looking garden. Those elephant ears wouldn't stand a chance with me.
