Some days, the only real color we get is sunrise or sunset, but I sometimes think they can get a little worn out as blog posts. However, this morning, there was something different.

You can almost see it better in the longer shot, but you do have to look for it. See how the tops of the trees are glowing? I don't think that's ice on the branches. There didn't seem to be any ice on trees near the house. I think it's just the way the light was reflecting off that low cloud bank.

And here is a much closer view of the tree that showed the strongest effect.

That stupendous blizzard we were supposed to get did not amount to even enough snow on the ground to ski. Ho hum.
In other news: This was the last day for a few days that I could spend all day long on book formatting, and I worked really hard on it. I'm working on chapter 96 out of 99. Still extra materials to do. Tomorrow, I have to go out mid-day, but hope to put in a good morning of work.
